I was given a sample of the saber ferrule at Valley Forge. On my personal cue I prefer nothing but ivory, I'm not the greatest of players, but have yet to find anything that hits close to ivory. Long story short I used the sample on a test cue that I had. The Ferrule machined easily and finished bright white. Not wanting to waste a Moori on a sample I put a triangle on. First impressions I loved the hit and the closest thing to ivory yet. My only concern is when I was cutting the ferrule down it was fairly brittle, time will tell how it holds up. I'm leaving on vacation in about 3 hours, so I wont be able to put it through it's paces for atleast a week.
