Just to show my bench for sanding the ends of the rail. I made a 4 foot wide bench with the 12 inch sander, the bench is inclined at 14 degrees vs the sander face, I use 40 grit paper. It's the ideal tool for changing pocket angles, I use 1/4'' 60A facing and I sand it to 3/16'' it does a perfect job, very happy with this little setup.
