Thanks, Ed. It kills me that I keep missing these NY tourneys.

I saw a friend today who usually played in the Sang Lee events the past few years. I asked him "Couldn't make it to NY this year, huh?"

He said he called in May and it was already filled and there already 41 alternates. This for a 500 dollar entry tourney where most players have no chance against the top players. Seems a few of us still love the game.

Sang Lee should be in the Hall of Fame for just keeping billiards alive in this country and bringing world class talent to the US, even if you don't count the world championship and 11 or so national titles he won.
