Santos

Can't tell you what brand it is, but from what I can tell it is an automatic model...

Santos's cue

Santos plays at a pool room I go to and I am almost 100% certain it is a PFD cue. Real beauty...allot of Ivory....I think the wood is purpleheart.

Absolutely a Drexler. When I saw him playing with it at HT (So. Calif) I asked a friend of his who the maker was and as Mike said it is definitely a Drexler and the wood is some of the most beautiful Purple Heart I have ever seen. Combined with the ivory the cue is absolutely stunning. He has been offered many times it initial cost but won't even consider selling it, and the way he plays I don't see him ever needing the $!

I got to see santos Play today for the first time, that guy has one of the hardest breaks i ever saw! He crushed them! He won his patch with Alex. I have to say he playes very good, good postion player.

I asked Santos a couple weeks ago, and you guys are right - it's a Drexler.

He really breaks hard, like wanna crush the 1 ball hard. I also like his fluidy stroke and loooonnng bridge.

I played Santos in an open tournament less than a year ago, lost to him 9-7. I joked with him saying "Your cue is so beautiful it distracted me while I was shooting" He laughed and let me hit some balls with it. I'm not saying this just because it's beautiful, but it had the best feel from any cue I've ever used. Very nice cue, very nice guy to go with it. He's one of the best characters in pool I've ever met.

Yeah, He really is a nice guy, approachable not like some of the snobbish pros. He's definitely an asset to pool world. Some pros would say how good they are, but this guy just let his stick do the talking.
