Sarah vs. Tiffany Nelson

After besting Terri Mason on Friday night, Sarah was scheduled to play Tiffany Nelson in the round of 32 at 2:30 pm Friday. I arrived a bit late, finding my seat in the bleachers just as Sarah won the first game, I knew I was in Sarah’s line of sight and when she missed a tough 1-ball cut after the next break I thought maybe I had chosen an unlucky seat and considered moving off to the side.

Shortly after, Kathy arrived and was thinking the same thing. I said no we will not move unless Sarah is losing the match. Fortunately that 1-ball was the last shot we saw her miss.

Tiffany shot an easy 9-ball combo to win the second game. From that point on Tiffany had what could be considered a “bad day at the office”.

She would run a few balls and miss and Sarah would run out the rack with beautiful precision.

It was what I would consider the perfect storm. Tiffany did not play well and Sarah played flawlessly resulting in a quick 9-1 defeat for Miss Nelson.

I have to admit it was not as exciting as Sarah’s comeback the night before because it was over so fast.

When the matchups were drawn for the round of 16 Steve Tipton announced her as Sarah “Take no Prisoners” Rousey.
