Just thought that I would post a shot I made last night playing bar pool at my normal hang-out...
I managed to hold the table most of the night from 5pm to midnight (only losing 3 times)....which I thought wasn't too bad.
Although most of the players weren't great, I still found that I could still get a lot of satifaction with the games, by focusing on making key shots or leaves within the games...
Here is a spot that I was in....where it was either execute the shot--or lose. I'm sure that many of you have made this shot before in a similar situation...but this was the first time for me--when the eight was hanging in the pocket...so if I miss, I lose. I'm guessing that this is only a 1 in 10 to 1 in 25 shot?
(I can't remember the exact path of the cue ball, but it just missed running into the object ball on its the way to the pocket...and I nearly scratched as well, by almost following the OB into the same pocket. The A, B, C, and D is what I think was the approximate path that the cue ball took).
