I just got a nice ebony pete with butterfly spilces and it hits great. I looked at it close and noticed the points aren't "clean". I'm not worried about them being even but there's little bits of ebony around the tip of the points and a couple of glue marks. One of the v's is not very square either. I called the guy and he said It was a blank and for the money that's what you get. Fine .My question is can this be cleaned up? Maybe some ebony v inlays at the splice or something. I didn't pay a ton and know the issue of blanks has been touched before so I don't want to start that again.
thanks guys
