I just got my new Schmelke M020 and really like the way it looks, feels and plays. I have a question concerning the shaft. I got it with their factory shaft and it supposedly has a UV Urethane coating on it to protect it against chalk build up and so forth. The shaft looks like its all natural wood with no clear coat or any other protectant on it.
In other words it doesn't look like any other shaft with a clear coat on it. Simply looks like bare wood to me. Is this the look it should have if it actually has the UV protectant on it that all their shafts have? It's probably just me not knowing what it should actually look like new but was hoping for some feedback from anyone that has a Schmelke cue or better yet their shaft........
Thanks in advance......:wink2:
