Anyone out there know what schon 13 means on shaft collar? Also when did they do the r series with rounded points.i know bob runde did some CNC cues after he left schon & word has it he regretted doing that style cue.

The Schon 13 was an engraving they did in 1993 before they switched to stamping the logo in the wood

The CNC stuff was early 90s

Also thought that some Schon sp has sharp points and some of those are newer

I've seen 13 and 12.5 labeled on Schon cue collars, referring to size. I spoke to Evan about this, they engraved SCHON on the collar because people were selling junk shafts as Schon shafts, and Evan didn't want crappy shafts being connected to Schon. He stopped engraving them because he found a better way, labeling them as they do now on the wood.

I HAVE A RUNDE SCHON R 4 -SOLID EBONY POINTS- ROUNDED AT THE TOP-
CUE ALSO HAS SMALL MAPLE BOXES JUST ABOVE THE WHITE BUTT CAP- THE SHAFT IS STAMPED IN THE BLACK CLOOAR SCHON 13 IN GOLD
