Schon Runde shaft for sale. Black collar with silver ring. I just had a new Triumph tip put on it. Measures 12.2mm at the bottom of the ferrule. Weighs 3.7oz. A friend who is very knowledgable thought that the ferrule was micarta. Not the yellow micarta that you often see in the older Runde shafts. The shaft has a little wobble/"taper roll". The tip and ferrule never leave the table or anything, so it should not affect playability at all. There are some dings and such. I figured the buyer could take out the dings and nicks themself or pay someone $10 to do it. Because of the roll and dings, I am asking the low, low price of SOLD shipped in conus!

Somebody can buy this for $78 shipped today. If not, I am going to throw it on Ebay later.

How do you tell if it's a runde era shaft ? One of my schons has "schon" on the wood part and he other has it in the black ring.

Thanks

Schon was only written on the black ring for one year(1993). All the other current shafts have it written on the wood.

As far as Runde shafts, I think it has to do something with the black on the pilot, along with some other things. Maybe the type of material they used was also unqiue. I had 3 people tell me it was a Runde shaft, so there is probably a pretty easy way to tell. However, one of them took a flashlight and looked into the joint, and he knew for sure it was a Runde shaft by a few different things.

Sorry my answer is not the best...there are many on here who can go into greater detail.
