Schon shaft ?'s

I have a Schon CX-04 on order and my question is that should I stay with the original shaft and change the tip to a kumui or use a predator shaft? I'm currently shooting with a Joss/predator combo and never had a Schon but heard how well a Schon cue feels.

Personally I think you would be better off using a predator shaft if that is what you have been playing with. It took me about a month to get used to the Schon shaft after playing with a predator. I switched back to the predator and doubt I will ever use the Schon shaft again. It is a solid hitting cue with either shaft.

Honestly, there's really know way for anyone to tell you which shaft to go with. You just have to play with both and see what you like best.

Too me the joss and schons hit a lot alike but I'd use the predator shaft :thumbup:

You will want to stick with the Predator. Schon shafts have a beautiful hit/feel, but they do deflect a lot...you'll probably be all over the place getting it dialed in. You'll see what I mean when you get it. It's up to your preference, and I'll bet you'll stick with what you know...

I've been playing with a Schon for years. I never really disliked the Schon shafts. But once I screwed an OB1 on it, I can't go back.
