Schon Sp1106-2
Body:
butt cap: black delrin with Schon SP engraved
butt-sleeve: Solid ebony with single brass ring and fancy RR ring below wrap.
wrap: Black and white Irish Linen that is clean and snag free
Forearm: Ebony with 6 sharp points with a large diamond inlay in each point. The points are a single blue veneer. One single silver ring below joint.
Joint: Polished SS piloted with 5/16-14 pin.
Shaft: Single shaft, 12" taper, "Schon" engraved horizontally with a standard ferrule and tip.
Specs:
Body is 15.0 oz, straight, 29" long from joint colar to bottom of butt cap.
Shaft: 4.4 oz, small amount of taper roll, 29", and 12.75 mm. Not 100% sure on exact thickness, I do not have a set of good calipers, but, is close to 12.75-13.00mm.
Condition:
Guys, this cue looks new with the exception of one ding, not a chip, in the butt-sleeve. The finish is not cracked or chipped. This is not a major issue for a used cue and you hardly notice it unless you catch the light just right. The wrap looks clean, tight, and snag free. The joint has a high polish and scratch free. No chips or dings anywhere else on the cue that I can find or have noticed. The shaft does have a small amount of taper roll, and I mean minimal. Some less picky would consider this straight. The ferrule is scratch free and does not have any blueing. The only discoloration of the shaft is where the finish stops above the joint colar, no big deal here either.
