In short is briefly talks about the increasing interest in the art of cue making, the materials, jewels and exotic woods used. It mentions Bill Stroud of Joss west cues, and how each high end cue takes months to make , and having a waiting list for years to obtain some of these creations. My cue is the one pictured 3rd from the far left.
Bassmaster said:Thanks Shorty.... I really like this cue IMO one of the best Schons made by Evan Clark. I've had several other nice Schons and they all hit similiar. I had thoughts of selling this one to get a Mottey or a Searing if possible. But not sure if the hit will be any better than the schon? Then the price for just Motteys plain Janes are really expensive and IMO would need a much higher end version to look as good as the SL23. Any experience with Motteys? The Searings is probably out of the question. There is a really nice searing on Ebay now...but just out of my budget.
