Scoreboard Software and Live Video Overlay

All scoreboard versions have now been upgraded. The Ultimate version caters for all disciplines with performance stats, ranking formulas and a draw sheet maker (with seeding) for up to 128 players. This solution is quite sophisticated and complex, but ideal for tournament directors.

There are lighter versions for Billiards and Pool, but the most significant one is the MatchPlay version which caters for Snooker and Billiards. MatchPlay not only displays a scoreboard on a local computer screen, but it also sends scores to the online database to display a scoreboard to the public worldwide. Those same scores can be used for a live video stream overlay by using OBS Studio. OBS is free encoding software and is available for Windows, Mac and Linux... the most widely used video encoder for sending live video to YouTube, Facebook and other media services.

All versions were 13 years old and needed a facelift. Some bugs were fixed but the major enhancement was to MatchPlay which now doubles as local and online scorer with new functions for uploading/downloading the latest records between computer and server to synchronise scores in the case of Internet connection or computer failure.
