Ideal for local scoreboard displays it will run from a Windows PC or laptop connected to any monitor up to giant plasmas screens. Some other new features in this version include:

- Scoreboard layout colors, fonts and sizes can be customized
- Records fouls, longpots and safety for performance statistics
- Ranking formulas and tournament/season management
- Optional shot clock for snooker and pool
- End of match time alarm for billiards
- Draw sheet maker for seeded draws up to 128 players
- Performance statistics and comparison by player, event and cue sport
- All functions translate into 24 different languages

Requirements:

- Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7
- Must be run as administrator

Download:

- Live Scoreboard Software (13.7 Mb)

Scoreboard software for all cue sports

The BallStream Scoreboard software is now FREE!

More simplified lite versions are now available that are simple to use:

  • Billiards Scoreboard
  • Pool Scoreboard
  • Snooker Scoreboard

These can be set up to run a local scoreboard, ie: any monitor connected your computer, for scoreboard display to a local audience. A ballstring is displayed at the bottom of the screen for current break sequence.

An even more simplified version is now available for all cue sports (non sport specific). In fact it can be used for almost any 2-side sporting match that is governed by points and game score.

  • Matchplay Scoreboard

More info and download links can be found from the home page at BallStream.

Enjoy!

BallStream Live Scoring Revised For Easy Access

BallStream Live Scoring Revised For Easy Access

The live scoring functions have been revised to enable scorers to self manage their matches without BallStream intervention. Match management has also been very much simplified to enable anyone to create a new account, confirm their email address and get a new match online within minutes.

The scoring service has also been relocated to a new server that will provide faster processing times and better bandwidth.

The only drawback with the new system is that site visitors can no longer see a programme listing all matches in the system. Instead, the scorer can publish the match ID codes on their web site or send them out to their associates by email. Visitors are not required to log-in to view live scores and can simply type in the 4 digit code for any match that they wish to watch.

For the public there are still two (2) different sized screens available… a small scoreboard for personal computers and a large fullscreen scoreboard for monitors that will cater for all sizes up to giant plasma screens.

For live scoring at the event, ie: providing a local scoreboard for the audience table-side and also sending scores to the Internet, scorers can use the large scoreboard available from their BallStream control panel. This master scoreboard requires the scorer to be logged in and will provide a list of matches created by the scorer.

The new simplified system no longer provides performance reports, but a printout of the match will show a record of every visit to the table for each frame. Match printouts are only available from the scorer’s control panel. Scorers now have the choice of 5 different colour schemes for the online scoreboard.

Note that this notice is about “Live Scoring” where a scorer sends the scores to the Internet for anyone to watch online. For a scoreboard at the vent (table-side) without the Internet one can use the “local” scoreboard software listed on our home page.

The database has been revised for so if your scoring account no longer exists, simply create a new one. The username is now based on email address.
