The WPC needs to move back to Cardiff. The referees are crooked, and the tables roll off. Rodney hit a ball perfect and it rolled off on him and missed. When Valentine was playing Chao, the referee interruped Michael and tried to measure his jump cue, which was a normal sized jump cue. When Chao brought his out, the referee didn't say anything. Plus, there is no AC and I heard the food is terrible. Screw Kaoshung, bring back Cardiff!!!

Didn't know the bit about Michael's match, will need to watch the tape to see what happens. Find it a bit weird, though.

LadyRef has just joined these Forums. If you read this, Michaela, what are your thoughts on the above "accusasions" (not necessarily the stuff about WPC going back to Cardiff - though that would be great!)?

That cut down the rail on the 8 ball, it drifted off on him. He hit it perfect and about 2/3 distance to the pocket it drifted out just a little.

i don't think so, i could be wrong. he hasn't really hit a ball soft enough to have a ball roll off.

he's missing left and right.........cutting his own throat.

Maybe you're right, but it looked like it drifted off. Rodney has been dogging it so bad in this match....
 
Man!!!! Hundal is not even playing that good but Rodney just keeps giving it to him!!!

hundal is making some really monster shots though. but rodney even missed that almost straight in 8 ball.

they need to start tightning the pockets in the US.......i think the taiwanese play with these tight pockets as standard, but they are kicking the american's ass.

Yeah the Taiwanese players are used to really tight equipment, this is normal to them. I think its very possible that some of our player's games have gotten just a little sloppy because of the easy equipment.

LOL I'm rooting for Rodney but now I feel soooo sorry for Hundal. The match was his, he was a centimeter off on the 6 and that cost him everything. Wow

Wow, I would have no idea. As far as I know, he's only been to California a couple of times during his career, one being the UPA, I think that was in January. I can pass any info along to him.
 
what player are u using to watch it? i got cable and i get 5 seconds of commentating per minute if im lucky and it changes the image sometimes, had to follow mainly thru the live update page, glad to see rodney pull through

i have aol, so it uses the aol media player. its just like watching t.v.

marlon manalo just played PERFECT pool. he shot AT LEAST a .950.

the other guy missed some, but he only got to the table about 3 times.

manalo wins TEN TEN TEN to zero........thats right 10-0!!!!!!

The ref in Chao's match was asked to check Valentine's jump stick length by Chao. He checked the length and the length was found to be legit. It was within the rights of a player to ask the ref to perform a check. Whether or not it was gamesmanship, it may or may not be. But Valentine was beaten with strong play and the the fact that he didn't play well, not because his jump cue stick length was checked. It was within Valentine's rights to ask the ref to perform the same check on Chao if he wished to, but he didn't have the opportunity afterwards.
