I am ready to purchase a home table and have narrowed it down to Diamond and American Heirloom. I would like to get any feedback positive or negative on these two brands. I know the Diamond is supposed to be one of the best out there but after looking at the AH website they have a very well built table also. Diamond uses a MDF slate backer due to being made to very close toleraces and AH uses a popler hardwwod backing. Which is better? and why? I would really appreciate any feedback about these tables. Thanks.
