Hello all, I got hold of a searing shaft to try a little while back and decided I'm not keeping it. Shaft hits a ton but the shaft is 12.2mm just below the ferrule. As a result I'm having trouble adjusting because it's a bit less forgiving on the big table. I talked to Dennis about it and I found out that he's 99.9% sure that it's the only shaft he's ever signed (his words). Also found out that the pilot has been cut a little at some point and we think that the shaft has either been turned at some point or gotten to that size from heavy. I personally think that if the shaft was sold about that thin, that it probably is from heavy use, given the shaft is at least 15 years old. It's in good shape with a couple dents in the clearcoat near the bottom and a couple marks on the collar. Rolls straight as far as I can see when on my Diveney sneaky. Just looking for a price to start at when I sell as this is a unique item and I have nothing to compare it to. Any input would be appreciated including the correct forum if this isn't the place to ask. Thanks in advance.
