Have a used Southwest-Style Mike Stacey custom cue for sale. Details as follows:

Figured Birdseye Maple
6 Alternating Ebony Points with 2 Veneers (Green-Black)
Yellow on Black Irish Linen Wrap
Ebony Buttsleeve with Birdseye Maple Southwest Band
Brown Phenolic Joint Collar and Buttcap
Maple Chequered Ringwork on Joints A, B, E.
3x8/11 Brass Pin
one 13mm shaft with melamine ferrule
weight is 19oz

Cue is in good condition, butt 8/10 (several minor dings) & shaft 7/10 (slightly blue)

How does this cue hit? Can you compare it to a standard predator? that's what I'm playing with now. Would it be softer, stiffer? Thx!

It has a firm but slightly whippy hit. I can't quite compare it to a standard predator though.
 
I just honestly want to know if its a soft hit like a Murrell, or stiff one like a SouthWest or Richard Black.

if compared that way, its more to the soft side.
 
Compared to SW cues Stacey's hit very soft and are pretty whippy....IMHO. Nevertheless, Mike is a super nice guy and makes good cues. The hit on his cues is an acquired taste
