This is a rare used set of Raschig billiard balls. They do not come with their original box as it was misplaced. These balls were only used in one brief pool game, then cased. They have no scratches or nicks. Raschig made their balls in limited quantities. They are the standard 2 1/4" in diameter. Raschig balls were made in West Germany but are no longer being made. These balls were made with a 1.4 mm deep polish, making the surface extremely resistant to damage while maintaining a constant long lasting high luster. These balls were made with very high quality pure, dyed cast phenolic resins with a completely homogeneous composition with the exact center of gravity in the absolute middle of the ball. They show practically no dimensional and weight tolerance variation, are fully resistant to high and low temperatures and always maintain their perfect sphericity. These balls achieved the tightest specifications and are the most accurate of any pool ball ever made. The long lasting luster on these balls are incredible, and many say they were the most beautiful balls ever made. These very rare balls are very difficult to find, especially in this excellent used condition and are very collectible. Also note that the picture does not do the balls justice, and any white dots, lines, etc. on the balls are only reflection from the flash of the camera.
