Set up another Diaomnd.......

Set up another Diamond.......

Set up another Diamond Pro today...............and the same thing wrong as every other one. THE BASKETS! They aren't big enough, and the side skirts push the side pocket baskets in. ( making that thud when you shot one in the side) And none of the baskets reach the bottom of the slates right. Anybody else setup any Diamonds? And if so what did you think of the way the baskets fit??? .........................PS Mr Bludworth............don't you have something to do with setting up the tables for a Tour or a Tournament??? If so....Do you have any knowledge of the Diamonds?

Come on now..........I know somebody has setup a Diamond Table. Or have an opinion on the difficulty of recovering one compared to the Gold Crowns.

Mechanic,

I helped set up a Diamond Pro. The mechanic was very experienced and probably does 300 a year, mostly Brunswick GC. This was his first Diamond...

When I unloaded the table and the Diamond light I got some of the panels/shirts/hardware mixed up. The mechanic had some difficulty figuring out the jigsaw puzzle...LOL...He mentioned that it probably took him two hours longer to set up the Diamond over a GC but would be about the same time the next time he did one. When it was all done the table played perfect. He was impressed with the Diamond constrution. He never mentioned the pocket problem you have pointed out. I know the sound your talking about though. He liked the leveling system and the overall quality especially when I told him the price of the table; conciderably less than a GC IV....sorry that's all I know from just being a helper for the mechanic.

The price is not that much different, I don't think......the Diamond Pro starts at 4400 and goes up to over 9k. Next time you see that mech ask him about the size of the baskets. They just seem too small. As for the better of the 2............I really believe that the GC4s are a better table.........not to say the Diamond are bad but between the 2 I like the GC. If they would use the 30mm slates and steal the feet off the Diamonds............and use 4 bolts per rail like the Diamonds. Both tables are great but the GC edges out the Diamond in my opinion...........after setting up about 6 or 8 Diamonds and a bunch of GCs. Also ask him what it was he liked about the leveling of the Diamond compared to the GC.........or was he just talking about the feet.......cause the no lift feet are the NUTS.......thats the best thing about the Diamonds.....lol.
