what would be the ideal wifi mini wireless camera setup one can do.. from the light fixture directly above the pool table to capture the full pool table end to end.
im in wheelchair... and i'd like to see a topical view... i have a flat screen on the wall next to the pool table i was hoping to see video feed. and others around can see the outcome of the game. i dont to have it filmed only to have to watch the film later. i want a live view directly from the camera overhead of the pool table and have it displayed on the TV at same time ..... anyone have any thoughts on the type of camera and setup i can have.... something simply please... cause i'd like to take this out to the pool hall and instead of on the TV i can have it play on my tablet. if the pool hall will allow us to set it up attached to the light fixture above their table.

Amazon has some really good deals for mini wifi cams under $49 so i'd like to keep budget under $50 it all possible give or take another $50 but no more than a $100

sorry if this is the wrong section for the thread i am new here.... i figured it has to do with the pool table and yet not technically with the pool table itself just above it. so again sorry if i am out of depth and wrong section

Get a go pro and Bluetooth it real time.

$50-$100 will get you a pretty crappy camera. An overhead view is going to require the camera pretty high up, and lighting can get in the way.
You might be better off with a cell phone and a tripod.

I've got a USB web cam installed in my light fixture. It has a real wide angle lens, as most of the cheaper web cams do, so the edges are distorted, but you can see things in real time. That required a long USB cable (in my case, 25'). I expect a WiFi cam will give similar results, though with one of them you also have to deal with battery life. You should need no special software to do the display, Windows comes with a camera app that will work fine, though you are likely going to want to disable having the computer go to sleep when idle. If you want to get more elaborate you can use free software like OBS Studio and a second camera on a tripod to be able to watch from a side or end table view at the same time.

Ok thank you all for your input I’m still undecided but your input is appreciated

Originally I was thinking about wrapping a strap around the light fixture and using my phone attacheched to the strap

I can create a pocket to slide phone in far enough to still allow camera to stream while using Roku via the tv to link to my YouTube stream

That was my original plan
Although I do have 4k action cam similar to the go pro but it’s not WiFi also a another smaller mini cam

Well anyway thanks again for all your input

If you are thinking of using your phone, which likely has a much better camera than the webcams do, look into selfie sticks. I bet there are versions that would be pretty simple to mount, even semi-permanently and would make it easier to remove when not in use as a camera.
