Shaft Identification

Is there anyone on here that can help identify a maker for these shafts? Purchased along with other shafts. I believe they were originally owned by George Middleditch, because they came in his case.

If you measure the outside diameter of the brass pilot nipples and the exact distance from the shaft collar to the end of the brass pilot nipples and those two measurements are exactly the same for both shafts - that may help someone compare the pilots on their own shafts to see if there is a match. Also need to know what size thread 5/16 14 or 5/16 18. What kind of ferrule material and what length are the ferrules also can assist.
