Shaft joint identification

Hi,

Is there anyone on here that can help me identify the joint that is on these shafts or provide a maker/manufacturer name?

I purchased them along with some other shafts in an auction and am unfamiliar with this one.

Thanks!

5/16-14 is what it looks like to me. Possibly a custom, or at least a custom built extra shaft since the pilots are different lengths.

I agree with the 5/16-14 threading, but top one looks like an extractor was used on the insert..... also looks like either a pencil line on the facing or it is cracked....hard to tell, maybe wrong

Yeah, that top shaft looks like it might have been repaired.

Wow, good eye! I never would have noticed that. Another thing that’s strange is the repaired one is about a half inch longer. It also makes a weird kind of rattle noise when I tap it against the table.

I got these along with some other shafts and a jump cue that were owned by the late George Middleditch. Just trying to figure out what they are and if there is a value/use for them. They didn’t come with a butt that would fit them.
Thanks

The bottom shaft looks like it was plugged then redone.
