shaft question

I was wondering if Mike Webb or Blud or anyone else could give me an opinion. I am thinking of buying a preditor shaft for my custom cue. The cue has a radical pin and is a more stiff hitting cue. My cuemaker will make the preditor fit my cue exactly. Does the joint type weather it be 3/8, 5/16 or whatever effect how the preditor will perform. A buddy of mine said that preditor will perform better on a preditor cue. Take care guys and God bless our troops.

It should be fine. 80% fo the hit is in the shaft anyways. You cue maker will most likely take a blank shaft and match it to your cue exactly, I have 2 and they both hit great.

predator shaft

In case you weren't aware, Seybert's Billiard supply will custom fit a predator to your cue also. You can either send them the butt of the cue or you can just tell them what the diameter of the joint is and they will send a shaft to you that is the diameter you requested.
