shaft saw blade

I was wondering if anyone knew the correct way to sharpen a shaft saw blade. I know its a FTG (flat top grind) but are there any other considerations to make the blade cut smoother. My saw makes about a 4 1/2 minute pass and spins at about 100 rpms. I saw a thread that Mr Bludworth said to have it sharpened with as much relief as possible. I had my sharpener do that but the blade doesnt cut as well. I think he cut the back part of the tooth. Is the relief the face, as in the hook or the backside of the tooth. Im really confused any help will be appreciated. Thanks
