Hello,
I have a Predator Z(1st generation) and the radial pin eat the wooden thread in the shaft.
I have been playing with the shaft for years. Can it be fix? If so, how can it be corrected and who can correct the problem?
Thanks,
Manuel

Yes, it's a fairly easy repair and any competent repair person should have no problem making the repair. Prices vary from one mechanic to another. It really needs just to be bored out, a new plug put in and then drilled and re-tapped. It used to be common that the plug was made of maple, same as the rest of the shaft but of late it's been the trend to use other materials both stronger and that hold threads better. Be it warned that this is a two sided sword as the threads will be much stronger but, often times, the hit of the cue will change some. Some will like this change, some won't and some won't even feel it. Dick

As stated already this is a repair that can be done by any qualified cue maker of repair mechanic. You can do a web serch for cue repair or cue makers in your state to find someone in your area.
Or you can get one of the cue makers or repairmen on this forum to get it done for you.
Hope this helps.
