seems kinda low to me to go from 13mm to 11.75 and replace the ferrule and tip??? i would charge 25-30 just for a tip and ferrule depending on the tip.
and to take the shaft down that skinny i wouldnt do it in just one sitting either. it would be multiple passes. and truth be told id probably turn this job down im not going to be liable for a customers shaft warping and having to replace it becasue chahnces are is that its going to warp.
and thats not worth 25-30 bucks.
if you want a Z shaft save yourself the hassel and buy a Z shaft.
I charge 20-30 on turning shafts down. Price is based on how much is coming off....also I would turn this one down as well because of the amount you want taken off......I don't know where the tip and ferrul thing came from but you would not need a new one if your just turning the shaft down.
If I were the hall monitor for today I'd be writing you all up.

I did 6 of them by lunch-time yesterday. Already did another 3 this morning.
