I am looking to have new shafts made for my AE cue.. preferably with matching ring work. I am looking for a reliable cue maker, and one near to Southern California (cuts down on shipping costs and time). If you know of anyone I can contact, or if you are the person I am looking for, please let me know. Just as a bit of an add on, I would want the shafts to be 13mm and 4+oz.

I've found that you're correct. Not only is it only $10 (or less), but then I will have shafts built by the original maker. Thanks to all for your suggestions and help. I will keep the info provided for other work I need done on cues.

Btw. Other cue makers in this area are Carmeli (riverside) Kent Davis (valley) Joey (north OC) and as someone else mentioned Ned Morris.
 
Thanks for all the names. As I have never had any work done previously, I never bothered to look for cue men in my area. The only two I knew about were Tad and Ernie at Gina (and I knew I couldn't get squat done from Tad unless it was FOR a Tad, and I assume the same is true for Ernie). I'll keep all of the names you guys have given me for when I need repair work.

Jerry McWorter is in Ventura. However, like Tad, he typically won't work on a cue that isn't his.
