Pics of this cue were posted here .....

and I'll add a few later to include pics of the j/p's also done by Mr. Lebow.
Cue is exactly as ordered. Of note, Sheldon does not build "spec" cues. I had to ask, but now I know that refers to cues built, "in hopes that they will sell". Sheldon builds, what's ordered. Period. Know what you want when you call him. Weight, balance, etc. He has a few basics, joint diameter comes to mind, that he likes using, but from there on, be specific. If you have an idea, he wil mock something up until it is the way you like it.
Fit and finish on the cue are EXCELLENT. I was told if I closed my eyes, I could not find the joint. He was right. On the other hand, VooDooDaddy told me it is just my old eyes. Coming from him I'll discount that
as just friendly abuse. It is VERY smooth. Balance on the cue is exactly where I ordered it, everything is as I requested. Nicely figured woods were used and the bison joint plays real well. The shaft wood is extra nice. Tight grain, very white, uncapped ferrule, and the measurements on this shaft duplicate the measurements on the shaft I had been playing with. What are the odds of THAT occuring by two different cue makers without being supplied the info. I mean IDENTICAL. Same taper all the way from one end t'other..
Cue is .853 at the joint, and 1.199 at the butt. 18.44 ounces with a .5 ounce weight bolt which I removed making it just under 18. Balance was at 20.5, it about 21" now. Cue came with two VERY nice pics and an Excel spread sheet detailing information about the order, and the finished product.
Wait time, was nominal. I think about 4 months? Contact and communication were excellent. Sheldon's last comment to me was, if you find anything out of sorts or have any problems, get ahold of me, I stand behind my work.
