Good point. The social implications of the table will be unknown for a few months at least. Seems to me the best plan is to accept the table as built, then modify if and when needed.
Now I'm shopping for a home bar, which is a trip in itself. HDTV is already in place, and I'll be putting in darts and ping-pong. By the time I get it done, fishing season will be on and I'll never be around. But when next winter rolls around, I'm going downstairs and I ain't comin' out till spring!
