I have two shafts and a butt going out today all to different people, would anyone care to tell me what's the best way to ship them so I don't get killed on shipping charges? I already have three tubes, I'm just looking for shipping methods that have done well for you in the past, all help will be appreciated, thanks:)

USPS priority mail. Use their triangle tube and also have a thin walled pvc pipe inside for extra protection. Worth the extra $3-4 for peace of mind.

I think you'll find some info in this thread helpful:

I ship maybe 4 to 5 hundred packages a year and most everything I send USPS priority. It is tracked and you can add signature and insurance if you like. Everything gets there in no more the three days, usually two. I have used all the shipping services and I like the post office best. I once had a package coming from UPS and saw the truck pull up. I met the guy at the truck and the way he throw the packages around was crazy. They put so much pressure on those drivers your package is the least of their worries, they can care less. The last package I got from Enco the UPS driver throw over my fence. UPS is not what it used to be.
I have to say, the post office workers seem to take better care of your packages. They don't act like the UPS drivers who seem psychotic most of the time they are so rushed.

I should add, you can also use overnight for something that you really want to have the least amount of handling. It is up to the customer usually if they want to pay that much. I remember getting a Southwest cue and they insisted overnight. Yes, I am one of the lucky to actually get a cue directly from Southwest.

That treatment is because the drivers get paid by the piece they deliver. So they haul reckless amounts of ass to get them there. Parcel integrity be damned.
