The shot clock is not running for the Wu vs Thorpe match

Same stuff as last year sometimes they used it sometimes not.
Rules seemed to be different for different games.
ie Poor Earl having to remove ear buffers.
hugs to all

It isn't a bad thing. Why should those on the tv table be subjected to a shot clock and no one else at the other tables are. A lot of times when their clock is running it isn't even being enforced anyways.

I am watching the video and am in the Accu-Stats chat and asked about the timer.

[benward452] Is the shot clock timer broken?
[Jfred] This is what Pat calls an internet only match. The shot clock is only employed during the full production TV matches

So there you go. The more you know...

It is the same reason they don't do TPA for all matches,

Best,

Ben

mrs. g,

Would you rather there be no shot clock timer or?

I am curious because none of the other matches in the Open have shot clocks except for the feature/recorded matches.

Accu-Stats is using the shot clock to help the quality of production for their matches that are going to be distributed in the future.

Best,

-Ben

I think that anyone and everyone that pays to compete in an
event is treated the same. I think there should be a shot clock
on every table.

But since it's only on the TV table, they should all be playing with
the same rules, one for all or none for all.

accu stats should not make any game play different in reference with
their tech issues.

Thorpe could have had a 15 second shot clock behind him, and it wouldn't have made a damn bit of difference.
