ive got a couple sticks that ive accumulated over the last couple years, not playing with them and i could use the money else where (like new ob-1 shaft, murnak case, etc etc etc lol). These arent anything special, old meucci sneakypete with the meucci band around the butt and a weight system i bought for it off ebay, and 2 steve klein sneakys (one fancy with purpleheart, the other is a 60" bocote). Im really only looking to sell these for what i paid, the kleins have actually gone up in value from when i bought them to what i see them going for now on sneakypetes website. Only problem is it seems I keep seeing deals that go wrong on here and all kinds of back and forth namecalling and accusations. How do you people who sell on this site usually do it? I have a paypal account so I think that makes the money part of it easier and it gives the buyer some security too. What do you guys think, post pics up and prices or take it to ebay first?

I would say put it on e-bay and make the people here aware of this, maybe including a link (if that is allowed, I´m pretty new here). That´s how it´s done in all the other forums I visit.

I always try on here first. If it is someone visable that posts often and has been around a bit, usually they are pretty trustworthy and you can ask around about them if you want.

I personally would be interested to see the Klein cues myself.

Paypal is great and listing it here also avoids the eBay fees as well. You have to pay to list, and then eBay charges you a percentage based upon the price it sells for.

Plenty of people on here have done several transactions and have good references. There is a thread called "Who are the honest sellers?" I recommend you browse it.

ok well im gonna try here first, ive already had a few pms wanting pics and info. Im not sure how the fair way to do this is.......i think i will just send the info to everyone who wants it, the price i was asking, and then let everyone make offers.

1)The meucci includes the tool to change the cue weight as well as several weights too. This is an old meucci sneaky with the meucci band around it, i bought it about 20 years ago used, its in really nice shape considering its age, it has 2 small places places on the butt someone has lacquered over and then just the normal blueing and wear.

2)The 60" steve klein bocote is in excellent shape, theres a little spot where the finish is missing on the ring where the shaft and butt screw together, i mean a tiny spot like 1/16th of an inch. I also had the shaft turned down on this one, its about 12.70 i think. I bought this cue new and prob played with it less than 5 times (found a deal on an extra long shaft for my schon, which retired the klein).

3)The fancy sneaky by steve klein is 58", 13mm shaft, and i bet i played with it less than 5 times too, bought it new from steve, and it has a small spot on the ring as well, very tiny but its there. I dont know if something in my case caused it to rub or if it came like that, i dont recall seeing it when i received them but i noticed it on them when i was looking them over to sell. Both kleins are 99%+.
I have pictures of all this plus the 2 spots on the kleins and the spots on the meucci. Im going to email the pics to the people who wanted them so far as well as my minimum price. If your offer is firm just say firm, if you want me to let you know if someone has outbid you then i will. I think i will run this thru the weekend, im an accountant and my busy time is here so I dont have much time to spend on this. I will say my offering prices are less than what ive seen lately, ive seen meuccis like mine going for 225, and i saw just a plain 58" bocote klein sneaky going for 316 a few weeks ago.
thanks
