Here in Cincinnati, you can usually set your watch to the fact that on Nov. 1 business will start booming(new installs and recovers). This is primarily due to the outside temp drops and everyone comes inside and with the coming family get togethers(holidays).
It is now Nov.15 and business sucks. We are not dead in the water by any stretch but a hell of a lot slower that we should be for this time of year. Other mechanics in the Cincinnati area, that I have talked to, say the same thing.
Outside of Cincy, anybody else feeling this?

It's been the same here. We are selling a decent amount of tables, but the refelt and table moves have been almost non existant this year.

We wer busier than hell last week and the week before. But that is probably due to the fact that our Box Truck died and have been working out out of a pick up truck.

We did have a somewhat slow week this week. Except for tommorow where I have to get to the shop at 4:30 am to get crap ready.

However I'm dreading Christmas with a passion. It came up faster than I thought and despite how I'll make a decent bit of money. Working 18-20 hour days for 7 days straight for an entire month will wear you down fast.
