Dude, it was a JOKE! I saw a moment to make an ironic comment and took it! Hehe. Sorry, man. Don't take it personally! You know how sometimes you just can't leave the potential joke alone, right?
I'm all for people speaking freely, whether it's due to their right or just the fact that they have the courage. I'm a very hardcore lefty and cherish folks speaking -- no matter what the ruling bodies say. That, of course, means that I welcome folks asking SILENCER to keep the thread-count to a minimum if he can find a way to roll them together. Everyone has their own way of asking for things. Some are tactless, some use humor (like me), some are passive. Ultimately, though, some of SILENCER's threads are PRETTY goofy, even if they do have a good point.
Yes, the mainstream should pay attention to pool since it's such a great sport. NO, having nude rackers won't help. But, of course, Bernie didn't mean that he really thought it should happen (right, B?) -- he was just pointing out that people don't care about games unless there are cheerleaders or massive budgets for nonsensical elements.
The point might be that, though it's not a big deal to mention something in passing to people in person, on here -- where not many people know other people personally -- it can come off as being too goofy.
For instance, the idea that you, for whatever reason, compared someone who has participated in protests that shut down cities in order to support human rights and freedoms to a klan member is just nonsense. That is, until I realize that you didn't realize I was being playful.
Online communication lacks so much that we never know what others mean unless we happen to know them personally. I think most people were just trying to caution Bernie a little bit so he didn't come off as being insane, haha.
Anyway, the point I was making was just that free speech doesn't mean you can't be criticized. In fact, if you aren't being attacked for your opinions, they probably aren't worth having!
