Simonis scraps in tournament blue

I'm wondering if anyone has any Simonis scraps they'de be willing to part with. Primarily I'm going to make break clothes from them, so I don't need anything too large.

Thanks!

I just use blank printer paper cut in half, works good, probably a little better than cloth cause QB doesnt hop as much. When it gets wrinkled I throw it away and use the other half or just get a new piece off the printer. I did not notice any difference between the paper and cloth other than the object balls do not stray when they roll over the paper after the break.

Great idea! I think I'll do that. I'de still like to get a few pieces of cloth for when I have friends over, and want to avoid weird looks when I pull out a piece of printer paper :)

Try using a dollar bill instead. Money, though similar in thickness to paper, is much more durable.

Our Pool Room uses Playing cards.

I don't like it much, but< I follow the owners wishes and we use playing cards. Anyone ever tried that?? Any comments or reasons not to? Seems to work well and does not affect the balls rolling from the break. :)

Yeah, I dont use anything for breaking when I have friends over, I dont want to be seen as some kind of weirdo, I just use "break cloth/paper" when playing alone. I dont expect cloth to last forever. Its just over a year old now, I figure I will have it replaced again by the time its 3 years old, maybe sooner. There are a lot of burn marks on other areas of the table too, along with tracks in the rail grove, I will be trying the 860HR next time. I am a little surprised how bad the cloth looks already. I clean the table good about every 10 hours of play and I keep the balls very clean too. I did notice that the cork in the ball box is getting carried to the playing field from the balls. Maybe I will try rubber in there instead of cork, anyone have a good idea about this?
