i have a problem with this on my table. i have a Gold Crown IV with Simonis 860.

do you guys have a problem with balls skidding on your tables? what causes this? is it something peculiar to the 860 cloth?

Clean the table and the balls. Kick is caused by chalk on the balls at the collision point, IIRC. Balls will slide depending on how you hit the cueball, but dirty tables make them do funny things.

is your cloth brand new? if so, the balls will slide, for a good month.
