I have a Skip Weston for sale. The cue is in very good shape but has a few minor dings and the metal rings have expanded somewhat and can be slightly felt through the finish. This cue retails for a little over $1500 and I'm offering it for $1000. The cue comes with two shafts with ivory ferrules and a piloted ivory joint. The forearm is purpleheart with curly maple points with curly maple, ebony and purpleheart hardwood veneers and backing points of ebony. Matching wood rings in all the positions and a sectioned butt plate (purpleheart and ebony). This cue is quite beautiful in person and plays great. The butt of the cue weighs 14.7 ounces and the shafts weigh 4.3 and 4.2 ounces.
I bought the cue to try out Skip's piloted ivory joint since that's the type of joint I chose on the one I'm having built. I'm not very good at describing the hit of cues, but I think this one plays excellently just as my other Skip does. If you need any other photos or information just let me know. All reasonable offers and trades will be considered. Thanks for looking at my post.
