Skip Weston question

Hi everyone,

Just curious to know if Skip provides picture updates on cues in progress? I really don't want to bother him and figure there are enough owners here who can answer.

Thanks,
Koop

He will give you progress pics if you request them. I'm sure he starts to eventually hate me when he's building a cue for me because it seems as though I'm always emailing him about something.

Yessir, from time to time if you request them (even sometimes when you don't) Skip will email you pics of the cue in progress. Several cuemakers whom I've dealt will send pics by request which I think is a nice touch of customer service on their behalf.

Thanks guys.

I love seeing how it is taking shape so I'll drop him note requesting an update every once in a while.

Much appreciated,
Koop

Okay, we won't even talk about how many emails I have sent him as of late...Lol. I am trying really hard not to bother him tho'. I'm not sure that it's working. :p

Hey Koop! Skip is usually pretty good about that kind of stuff. But, unless I get to the point where the suspense is killing me I try to leave him alone. I just figure that the less I bother him the more he can get done.

I know exactly what you mean. I ordered a cue back in April, and it was finally delivered only 2 days ago. The cue maker wasn't terribly familiar with sending digital photoes via e-mail, but fortunately he was very easy to get a hold of via telephone. I was very happy with the final result, but the wait and suspense was an eternity.

Thanks everyone and I definitely hear you Lisa.

I was two steps away from the psych ward waiting for my first Skip; literally dozens of emails back and forth (prompt responses/updates).

My friend asked me if I wanted a cue or a freakin' restraining order, so I reigned myself in on the second cue. After I ordered it, I didn't write a single email (other than specify tips) and it's a miracle I didn't pop a hernia from exercising such herculean restraint. Having the first Skip helped alot.

-Roger (for my sake and his, let's hope there's no relapse on my third cue)
