Slate glue down advice

Hi Guys/Gals

I have a 8' table 3/4 slate, I have finished the rails just need some gluing advice for the slate, I have always had wood backing to staple, never glued before. I am using championship medium priced cloth any tips or tools that might come in handy helping me stretch this as tight as possible?.

Try to use the same technique as you would with staples, it's tricky for sure. You may have to do it a few times to get it right.
