If you ever get a chance to try one, try it.
Jumping over balls with it almost takes no skills.
The lighter one breaks like nothing I've tried.
Mike Baby Face is one hell of a nice person too.
If you're thinking of getting the Predator break cue and a jump cue, check Sledgehammer first b4 you make the decision.

I've always wondered about the performance of the sledgehammer. Can you compare it to a bunjee jump/break? is the 1 pc phenolic ferrule/tip now legal? thanks

At the US Open 2002 Mike and I agreed that the Bunjee JB and the Sledgehammer performed equally well and that his was the "high-end" and the Bunjee is the "low-end". By that we agreed that the Sledgehammer is a custom cue with a lifetime guarantee and the Bunjee is a mass produced cue with a 14 day money back guarantee and a one year manufacturer defect guarantee.

I am sure that Mike feels in his heart that the Sledgehammer is the better cue and I would in his position. I will say that there are many players I know who have tried both and find them virtually equal in performance. One thing that is undeniable is that among professional players the Sledgehammer has won major acceptance. There are a fair number of players who use the Bunjee JB as well but I don't pay them so I won't name them.

One thing that is interesting is that Larry Nevel BROKE a cueball breaking with a Bunjee Jump-Breaker at the VNEA nationals.

Either cue will serve you well.

I have both a Bunjee Jump cue and Sledgehammer and like them both. I usually use the Bunjee only because I'm more used to it.

Mike does build a very god break/jump cue..... We were together the last couple of weeks in Las Vegas. Mike and I have been friends for about 20 some-odd years. Mike was on the road with me and Janice way back. I got him started in cue repair.

I punched to wrong button. DUH!

Mike is a good friend. Believe me, he builds a great beak/jump. I normally don't talk about who can do what, but in this case, Mike is da-man.
