Are the McDermott as good as what Gulyassy made?

I used to have a Gulyassy and wanted to get another one. But there hard to find with the wrap on them.

No, absolutely not. Nothing has ever been as good as the original G Sledgehammers. The McDermotts are good, but not as good. The only thing I've hit that has come close to being in the ballpark is my Leon Sly J/B.

Good luck finding one! I've been trying for quite a while too. I had a friend that had one and he went behind my back and sold it for nothing... like $150. This was even after I told him I wanted it. I wasn't happy and I made sure to tell him that he got really ripped off. I would have given him $500 for it. He wasn't happy but when you're an idiot... you're not going to be happy a lot!

Thanks for the reply. It figures that there not the same. I found a couple of the orignals but would rather have the wrap on it.

I've hit with both and have a McDermott S750. No difference that I can appreciate. I sell McDermott, contact me if you want a great price.
