So I have read about Cue Silk, dimethicone, polyfluorester and other chemicals, sealers, and waxes for use on pool cue shafts to make them slick.
I recently read about "Liquiglide" which MIT chemists also recently concocted. It sounds like another miracle chemical with numerous applications - maybe even for use on pool cue shafts.

Maybe this stuff will find its way inside pipes that transport viscous fluids, vehicle windshields, vehicle exteriors, and who knows what else.
Looking forward to hearing how it works on pool cue shafts.
