this might sound rediculous......so if you cant fit a table in your house, does anyone make a small table with maybe 2 or 4 pockets just for practincing your stroke etc?? almost like a table cut in half? would this be possbile to make?

I did this, about a month ago...

It is kinda rediculous i guess, looks kinda stupid etc, but i have really limited training time at my club, and i feel i can train for days, so i do now..with this contraption

I can't place a pool table at home, nor i can afford it, so i bought a cueball and the 8 ball (both aramith), put down some "felt" (i would like to find some used cloth from a table later)

I have one pocket on it (really tight, slightly wider than a ball), its pretty long (about 2 meters), but its narrow, so i am limited to certain type of shots that i can practice..

I find it really usefull, with it's help, i have found out i had some problems with my fundamentals, my allignment, aiming, stroke consistency and stuff...you can always improve on that, i also chart my practice progress, and i never (almost) get out of stroke now

It has helped me in developing my pre shot routine and stroke consistency, because i can really think about it in peace, and the go and do it "for reals" in a match

it's no substitute for a home table, or training in a pool hall, but since i can't have none of that, this is the way i try to develop an edge

It's working good for me, it has helped me get more consistent and focused, and my tournament results have been better since im practicing this way
