I've managed to accumulate too much assorted cue stuff. So the following items are for sale, as a package only (pics below):
1. A "Kuliat" pool cue. I had never heard of them either, but a fair number are sold on Ebay, so I decided to pick one up and try it out. Apparently they're hand-made by a cuemaker in the Philippines. You can read the cuemaker's own description at http://tinyurl.com/dswr7 or http://tinyurl.com/a3wjb. The seller's feedback is 99.4% on 351 sales, which is pretty solid.
In any case, it's a great looking cue. The inlays are very nice, ornate, and the points are even. The maker says he doesn't use CNC, but there is a slight rounding of the tips of the points (though much less round than my Schon). They seem to go for $200+ with one shaft; this one has two shafts and has been used but is in 98% condition (I paid $300).
Personally, I don't love the hit, which is why I'm selling it. My first reaction was "that feels like a Lucasi." I've never liked the hit of Lucasis, which explains why I don't love this cue. But a lot of people do like them. YMMV.
2. A used, but in fine condition, Bill Stroud-designed Universal Smart Shaft, regular squirt model. By happenstance, I ended up owning two of these, so I need to get rid of one. I'm not sure what joint adapter the one I'm selling has, but it's not piloted and the threads are slightly too narrow to fit onto a Schon/Joss pin. You can get a new adapter for the USS at Billiard Warehouse for $22.00 (see http://tinyurl.com/dl8yw).
3. An Axiom Jump/Break cue. It's 21 oz., but I assume there's a weight bolt that you can remove or replace.
4. An Axiom Jump cue.
5. A Giuseppe 2X4 case, in great condition.
Ballparking the low end resale value, I'd say around $225 for the Kuliat, $150 for the USS, $60 for the J/B, $25 for the jump cue, and $50 for the Giuseppe, which adds up to $510.
I could probably sell everything separately Ebay and get more than that, but I'd rather save time and sell it all here in one shot for the best offer I get in the next week or so that's reasonable (roughly, $425+). I might also consider a trade for a single cue (I need to have less pool stuff around the house).
