Smoke Smell in a Wrap

How the heck do you get a smoke smell out of a cue? I played in a local tourney last weekend in Mississippi and now my cue RANKS of smoke. I tried a little light spray of fabreeze on a paper towel and wiped it down. Still has a smoke smell, but not nearly as bad. Any ideas? As you can tell, I don't smoke....stunts your growth ya know :). Shorty
