Snakewood, and Cocobolo... Show your

Not sure. Here's my Capone Custom Cue that is about 8 years old that I won in a raffle. I think someone said it was Snakewood (or maybe Lacewood?) and Cocobolo.

The points look more like Lacewood (wavy grain). Snakewood had dark splotches (like the back of some snakes). But you might email pix to Mike (Capone) and ask him for verification.

This is definitely Lacewood. At one time, I had a BEM and lacewood cue made by Mike. It is a gorgeous wood that is very hard to capture in photos. It's transparent look doesn't come across very well in pictures.

Sharp looking cue- I bet it has a nice hit.

Alinco, that's a really sharp looking cue! Of course, it's a pretty typical SW style, but the wood combination is quite beautiful to my eye. I was looking at Capones yesterday, and I didn't see any with that style joint. Is that common for him, or uncommon?

Yep. It always gets compared to Southwest. This cue is from about 2000 and someone mentioned that he's changed the joint since then.
