Snap judgments on the J. Flowers JF-BK2 Break cue

I usually play on an 8 foot table w/ slow cloth. Was looking for something to give me a bit more pop while retaining cue ball control. Here are my thoughts after 10 minutes w/ this cue.

After watching one of Dr. Dave's videos recently, I decided to try a 2d ball break for 8 ball. On the slow cloth, I dry break fairly regularly in 8 ball, even though I have a decent break. Over lunch one day I did a quick experiment to see how it compared to breaking from the middle. I made a ball 3/10 times breaking from center but had good cue ball control & better spread. I made a ball 7/10 times w/ a 2d ball break, but had worse cue ball control & more clusters. Today I received this cue in the mail & hit a few before the wife came home. I made a ball 10/10 times (5 from center, 5 from the rail) & had good control. Looks like a keeper. Full review to follow.

Great to know. I ordered one yesterday. The JF-BK2 has not arrived yet but I know I'll love the carbon shaft. All of my cues have the REVO or Ned Morris' Evolution carbon shaft (which is just as good as the REVO but cheaper). Just can't stand to stroke with a wood shaft.
