in england the snooker pros favor one snooker cue maker over all the others, a john parris cue from england. so, to recap, pool players choose whatever they want for whatever reasons, billiard players narrowed it down to 5 choices, and snooker players say " there is ony one worth playing with" intresting!

I find this very hard to believe, even though there are not nearly as many makes for snooker cues as there are for pool.

ask anyone british, who knows, 90% of the snooker pros use a paris snooker cue.

There are numerous makers of custom snooker cues. I bet you the top 5 snooker shooters in the UK all use a differn't makers cues. I have used a Parris cue before, they don't really impress me that much.

SILENCER: Not true matey. John Parris certainly is a fine cuemaker, and does one HELL of a good re-tip, but to say that 90% of snooker pros use his cues is pure and utter nonsense.

I know of 5 pros that use his cues, the rest use various makes and ages (eg Steve Davis uses a 100 year old cue, has done for the majority of his career).

you mean to tell me steve davis does NOT play with a parris? i find this VERY hard to swallow, although, i could be wrong.

His pool cue is a parris (as seen at the mosconi this year), and he toyed with a parris snooker cue for a couple of years, but he ultimately went back to the cue he won all of his world championships with.
